The Football Kenya Federation (FKF) has confirmed two international friendlies for the national team. Harambee Stars will travel to Central Asia for a double-header in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan.

Head coach Benni McCarthy’s side will first play the hosts on June 3. Three days later, they will face Pakistan at the same venue. These fixtures offer vital match practice ahead of next year’s Africa Cup of Nations.

Kenya is preparing to co-host AFCON 2027 alongside Uganda and Tanzania. The federation hopes these games will help McCarthy build a strong squad. He may invite new players to the camp, following methods used by coaches in Morocco, Algeria, and DR Congo.

This is the second time the Stars will gather this year. In March, they competed in the FIFA Global Series in Kigali, Rwanda. They secured third place after a 3-0 victory over Grenada. Earlier in that tournament, they lost to Estonia on penalties.
