The winger felt pain in his right calf during the match. The club removed him as a safety measure. Medical checks on Monday brought good news for the 29-year-old forward.
“Ousmane will stay in the treatment room for the next few days,” PSG stated in their official medical report. This update comes as a huge relief for the recent Ligue 1 Player of the Season winner.
The timing is crucial for the player and the club. Coaches expect him to start against Arsenal in the Champions League final on 30 May in Budapest. He will then meet up with the France national team.
