LOSC Lille are searching for a new manager. Bruno Genesio could leave the French club soon. Club president Olivier Létang prefers Davide Ancelotti for the position.

The 36-year-old Italian has built his career as an assistant. He worked alongside his father Carlo at Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Napoli and Everton. Currently, he serves as assistant coach for the Brazil national team.

Ancelotti recently managed Botafogo. He took charge of 33 Brazilian league matches in 2025. His record shows 15 wins, 10 draws and eight defeats.

However, Létang has other options. Thiago Motta has also emerged as a candidate. The former Juventus manager left the Italian club in March 2025.
