Bardghji completed his switch to Catalonia just twelve months ago from FC Copenhagen, yet he has failed to establish himself in Flick’s starting plans. With the club closing in on the signing of Anthony Gordon from Newcastle United, competition for wide positions has become intense. The young attacker recognises he would face even longer spells on the sidelines next season.
According to sources, Flick has made it clear to Bardghji that he cannot offer regular first-team football. The player has accepted this reality and understands that moving elsewhere represents the best path for his career progression. Although he remains fond of the club, his priority is securing consistent minutes on the pitch.
Barcelona are open to negotiations for the forward as they look to balance the books ahead of an expensive transfer window. Bardghji’s preference is for a temporary loan arrangement, allowing him to maintain his connection with the Spanish giants. However, he would not oppose a permanent transfer should the board decide that an outright sale better serves their financial needs.
