German defender Keven Schlotterbeck wants to leave FC Augsburg. The 29-year-old centre-back has told the club’s management he wishes to find a new team during the summer transfer window.
Schlotterbeck fell out of favour towards the end of last season. He briefly captained the side, but he soon lost his spot in the starting eleven.
The left-footed stopper nearly left the Bavarian club last summer. Now, with Chrislain Matsima, Cedric Zesiger and Noah-Kai Banks ahead of him in the pecking order, his chances of regular game time look slim.
Although Schlotterbeck has a contract until 2027, all signs suggest he will seek a fresh start elsewhere.
