Germany international Karim Adeyemi faces an uncertain future at Borussia Dortmund with just 12 months remaining on his current contract. The 24-year-old winger has been negotiating a new deal with the Bundesliga club for several months, but both sides have failed to reach an agreement.

Recent reports indicate that Adeyemi is now open to leaving Signal Iduna Park this summer. Premier League club Aston Villa are reportedly tracking the situation closely and could make a formal approach.

Speaking to German newspaper Ruhr Nachrichten, Adeyemi has broken his silence on the speculation. He called for swift clarity from the club regarding his position.

“I have demonstrated my commitment to Dortmund many times,” he said. “I do not need to keep repeating this.”

The attacker wants guarantees about his place in the squad. He seeks a club that includes him in their future plans and communicates this clearly.

“It is vital that we sit down with my management and speak openly,” Adeyemi explained. “I need a definitive answer, whether it is yes or no.”

He also dismissed several media stories as false. “I often learn about these reports through the press or social media, and they are simply untrue,” he stated. “Claims about my salary demands are not correct.”
