Eintracht completed the permanent signing of Theate from Stade Rennais in January 2025, paying a reported €13 million to secure his services following an initial loan arrangement. The defender established himself as a regular starter last season, accumulating 33 appearances across all competitions. He contributed one goal and one assist while demonstrating consistency at the heart of the Frankfurt defence.
