Paris FC have confirmed that their experienced right-back, Adama Camara, has extended his contract with the club. The new agreement will see the Malian international remain with the Parisian side until June 2028, adding an extra year to his previous deal which was set to expire in 2027.
The 29-year-old defender has been a pivotal figure for Paris FC since his arrival in the summer of 2023. Camara played a significant role in the club’s successful promotion to Ligue 1 at the end of the 2024-25 season, quickly establishing himself as an undisputed first-team regular under manager Liam Rosenior.
Camara’s Consistent Impact
Camara’s importance to the team has continued into the current 2026-27 Ligue 1 campaign. He has featured in every minute of Paris FC’s first five league matches, demonstrating his reliability and consistent performance at the highest level of French football. His journey to the top flight is notable, having joined the club without previously coming through a youth academy.
Throughout his tenure, Camara has made a total of 109 appearances for Paris FC across all competitions. This includes 34 appearances in Ligue 1 since the club’s promotion. During these matches, the Bondy-born player has contributed six goals and one assist, showcasing his attacking capabilities from the defensive flank.
The contract extension underscores Paris FC’s commitment to retaining key players as they aim to solidify their position in Ligue 1. Camara’s continued presence will be vital for the club’s ambitions in the coming seasons.
