Carnevali told Sky Italia that the demands for the France international have not been lowered despite weeks of talks. “I wouldn’t just focus on him,” he said. “If there is a big difference, we have to make the right assessments. We’re trying to do the best thing.” The comments suggest Juventus are unwilling to meet PSG’s valuation unconditionally and are prepared to walk away if terms cannot be improved.

Kolo Muani presents a dilemma for potential suitors based on his recent loan history. The 27-year-old enjoyed a prolific spell at Juventus in the second half of the 2024-25 campaign, scoring eight goals in 16 Serie A appearances. However, his subsequent temporary move to Tottenham Hotspur proved disastrous. The striker managed just one goal in 30 Premier League appearances last season, struggling to adapt to English football before returning to PSG. Despite that poor record, French reports indicate concrete contact exists between Kolo Muani and Tottenham over a potential return to north London. While earlier reports suggested Juventus were close to an agreement with PSG, Carnevali’s recent admissions reveal the Italian side are keeping their options open.
The Juventus chief confirmed Sorloth is among the alternatives being considered as the club hunts for a new centre-forward.
