Werder Bremen are on the verge of completing the signing of Ludovit Reis from Club Brugge. The 26-year-old midfielder has already arrived in the city, with the Bundesliga club planning to unveil the move in front of supporters before their friendly match against Auxerre on Saturday.
The transfer marks a swift return to German football for the Netherlands Under-21 international, who endured a frustrating campaign in Belgium. Reis joined Club Brugge from Hamburg last summer in a €6 million deal but managed only 12 appearances during an injury-disrupted season.
