  • Bayern Munich plan to sign Bara Sapoko Ndiaye permanently from his parent club this summer.
  • The 18-year-old Senegalese talent has started two straight Bundesliga matches, winning praise from coach Vincent Kompany.
  • Departures of Leon Goretzka and Raphaël Guerreiro will open two vacancies in the centre of midfield.
  • Ndiaye will compete with returning loanee Noel Aseko for a first-team role.
  • A temporary move to Grasshopper Club Zürich remains an alternative if Bayern decide he needs more experience.

Reports from Germany indicate that Bayern Munich intend to convert Bara Sapoko Ndiaye’s temporary stay into a full-time contract. The Bavarian giants are ready to buy the 18-year-old outright from his current club.

Head coach Vincent Kompany is a strong supporter of the young prospect. The Senegalese youth international has featured in the starting eleven for two consecutive league matches. These displays have convinced the Belgian manager that the teenager is ready for a long-term role at the club.

The decision comes as Bayern prepare to rebuild their engine room. Experienced stars Leon Goretzka and Raphaël Guerreiro are set to exit when their deals run out at the end of the season. This will create space for fresh faces in the middle of the pitch.

Ndiaye hopes to seize one of these openings. He will vie for a position alongside fellow academy graduate Noel Aseko, who is coming back from a stint with Hannover 96. Both players will get the chance to prove themselves during pre-season training.

Yet the German champions might prefer to loan Ndiaye out again. Swiss side Grasshopper Club Zürich are reportedly keen on securing his services for the next campaign. This option would give the African midfielder regular game time on the pitch before he fights for a permanent place in Munich.
