  • Liverpool and Manchester City are also chasing the 24-year-old France international.
  • The Reds could offer €50 million for the attacker this summer.
  • Lee Kang-in might leave PSG for Atletico Madrid, forcing the French champions to find a substitute.
  • Akliouche has a contract until 2028 but is expected to exit Monaco at the end of the season.

Paris Saint-Germain have set their sights on AS Monaco playmaker Maghnes Akliouche as a possible substitute for Lee Kang-in. This move comes as the South Korea international faces uncertainty over his future at the Parc des Princes.

French newspaper L’Équipe reports that PSG view the 24-year-old Frenchman as an ideal candidate to fill the gap if Lee departs. Atletico Madrid tried to sign the Asian star last summer and could revive their bid during the current transfer window.

However, the Ligue 1 giants face strong competition from England. Liverpool have intensified their pursuit of Akliouche and are preparing a €50 million offer. Meanwhile, Manchester City have maintained a long-standing interest in the forward and may formally submit a proposal soon.

Despite having a deal with Monaco that runs until 2028, Akliouche is widely expected to seek a new challenge this summer. The Principality club appear ready to sanction his exit if they receive an acceptable fee from either the Premier League or their domestic rivals.
