PULSER FOOTBALL NEWS-4

AC Milan has finalised a new contract for Christian Pulisic, a deal that sees the American international become one of the club’s top earners. The agreement extends Pulisic’s stay at San Siro until 2031.

Under the terms of his new deal, Pulisic’s base salary is set at €6.5 million per year. This figure could potentially rise to €10 million annually through a series of bonuses tied to both individual performance, such as appearances, goals, and assists, and team objectives. This places Pulisic on par with goalkeeper Mike Maignan among Milan’s best-paid players.

Contract Renewals on the Horizon

Following the completion of Pulisic’s contract, Milan’s attention is reportedly shifting towards securing the futures of other key players. The club is prioritising new deals for midfielder Adrien Rabiot and promising young talent Alphadjo Cissé.

Adrien Rabiot, whose current contract is due to expire in June 2028, is expected to be offered an extension that would add two more years to his tenure. Reports suggest that the French midfielder’s new terms could see him earn a salary comparable to Pulisic’s, reflecting his importance to the squad.

Milan is also keen to tie down Alphadjo Cissé, who has enjoyed a productive season, scoring seven goals so far. This includes a brace in a recent 4-2 defeat to Bologna. The club anticipates significant interest in Cissé and aims to secure his long-term commitment.

Future Attacking Investment

Looking ahead, AC Milan is reportedly planning a substantial investment in their attacking options for next summer’s transfer window. Among the potential targets being monitored is Nicolò Tresoldi, a 22-year-old striker from Club Brugge.

Tresoldi has garnered attention with his performances, notably scoring a hat-trick against Inter Milan at San Siro in the Champions League this month. Milan faces competition for his signature, with several other prominent European clubs, including Chelsea, Manchester City, Tottenham, Manchester United, Atlético Madrid, and Borussia Dortmund, also reportedly following the young forward’s progress.
