Real Sociedad are preparing to host Olympique Lyonnais in a UEFA Europa League clash, with Mamadou Sarr predicted to feature prominently in the Spanish side’s starting lineup. The defender’s potential inclusion adds an intriguing narrative, as he is set to face his former club.
Sarr, currently on loan at Real Sociedad from Chelsea, developed through the youth ranks at Olympique Lyonnais. His expected start at the heart of Real Sociedad’s defence will be a significant moment for the young player.
Joining Sarr in the anticipated starting XI are a couple of other familiar names. Former Paris Saint-Germain midfielders Carlos Soler and Goncalo Guedes are also expected to be in the lineup, adding experience and attacking prowess to Real Sociedad’s midfield and forward lines.
