Dusan Vlahovic faces a contract deadline at Juventus with the Serbian striker yet to respond to a renewal offer as his current deal expires on June 30. The 26-year-old could leave Turin on a free transfer next week, with Turkish club Besiktas currently his only concrete alternative according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Italian publication indicates that Juventus have tabled a one-year extension worth approximately €8 million per season. However, the forward and his representatives have not replied to the proposal, creating an effective ultimatum situation with just days remaining on his existing agreement.

Besiktas prepare lucrative package

Should Vlahovic depart, Besiktas have positioned themselves as the primary destination. The Istanbul club are prepared to invest roughly €30 million in total, covering wages, signing bonus and commission fees.

The Turkish side have offered a contract worth €10 million per season alongside a €5 million signing bonus. This financial package significantly exceeds Juventus’s proposal, though the Serie A club offers the continuity of remaining in one of Europe’s top five leagues.

A key factor in Besiktas’s pursuit is their new head coach Vincenzo Italiano. The Italian manager worked with Vlahovic at Fiorentina, where the striker recorded his most productive goalscoring totals. This existing relationship could prove decisive in negotiations.

Alternative options limited

Despite previous speculation linking Bayern Munich and Barcelona with a free transfer move, La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that neither club has made a formal approach. This leaves Besiktas as the solitary serious contender should Vlahovic reject Juventus’s renewal terms.

Juventus are not relying solely on retaining their current centre-forward. The club remain in negotiations for Paris Saint-Germain forward Randal Kolo Muani, who is being lined up as a replacement should Vlahovic exit. The French international would arrive to bolster a strike force facing potential upheaval.

The coming days represent a critical juncture for all parties. Vlahovic must decide whether to accept Juventus’s short-term terms, pursue a lucrative move to Turkey, or risk entering the market with limited interest from other European elite clubs currently materialised.
