Juventus have secured a salary agreement with Randal Kolo Muani as the Serie A giants look to seal a permanent return for the French striker. The 26-year-old has accepted a five-year contract worth approximately €5 million per season, though chief executive Giovanni Carnevali must still overcome a valuation gap with Paris Saint-Germain to complete the transfer.

Personal terms secured

According to reports in Italy, Kolo Muani is eager to rejoin the Turin side after a productive loan spell during the second half of the 2024-25 campaign. He scored eight goals in 16 Serie A outings for the Old Lady, convincing the club’s hierarchy to pursue a full-time deal. The proposed wage would rank him as Juventus’s third-highest earner, behind Kenan Yildiz and Jonathan David.

The forward has reportedly accepted a reduction on his current Paris salary to facilitate the move, demonstrating his commitment to returning to the Bianconeri.

Negotiations with PSG

Now Carnevali must strike an agreement with the Ligue 1 champions. PSG value the player at €40 million, while Juventus are prepared to invest a maximum of €35 million including bonuses. This €5 million difference represents the final obstacle to completing the transfer.

Carnevali is expected to meet PSG sporting director Jorge Campos shortly. The pair enjoy a strong personal relationship, though Carnevali faces the additional task of mending frayed club-to-club ties following a failed attempt to sign Kolo Muani at the close of last summer’s window. Talks between the officials are anticipated to take place imminently.

If successful, the move would mark Kolo Muani’s permanent departure from Paris after he struggled to establish himself as a first-choice option, making the temporary switch to Italy in search of regular football.
