The 21-year-old moved to Belgium from Maccabi Haifa for €6.5 million in 2024 and quickly adapted to the demands of continental football. During his debut campaign with Union Saint-Gilloise, he registered six goals and six assists across 52 appearances in all competitions. Napoli had previously positioned themselves as frontrunners for the winger’s signature. However, Financial Fair Play regulations have complicated their pursuit. The Partenopei must sell existing squad members before the club can authorize new purchases, creating a delay that Inter have exploited. With no such constraints hindering their progress, the Nerazzurri have established direct contact with the Belgian outfit and advanced discussions significantly.
The Israel international, who turns 22 in September, appears amenable to the switch. Reports indicate that his wage expectations align with Inter’s current structure, removing a potential stumbling block that complicated negotiations for Palestra.
