“I wear the Germany shirt with pride, I’m very happy to be here,” Tresoldi stated in an interview. He also outlined his immediate ambition: “I want to play the [U-21] Euros with Germany. After that, we’ll see what happens next.”
Tresoldi described his conversation with Jürgen Klopp as particularly insightful. “I had good talks with Jürgen Klopp. I explained my situation to him, and he understood. He’s a great guy. It wasn’t a typical coach-player conversation. It was more like a father-son talk. He said that the door is always open for me. I said the same thing to Roberto Mancini.”
