AS Monaco have informed interested clubs that Lamine Camara will cost in excess of €60 million, with the Ligue 1 side having already turned down a €35m offer from Crystal Palace for the Senegal midfielder.
The 22-year-old has emerged as a target for several Premier League clubs, with Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United also monitoring his situation. However, Monaco’s firm stance suggests any potential suitor will need to substantially increase their bid to secure his services ahead of the new season.
Monaco set steep asking price
According to reports from the Côte d’Azur, Crystal Palace submitted a €35m proposal that was swiftly rejected by the Monaco board. The principality club are under no pressure to sell and value Camara significantly higher, with sources indicating that a €60m offer would currently fall short of their demands.
This valuation reflects Camara’s growing importance to the squad. The midfielder made 31 appearances across all competitions last season, scoring three goals and providing four assists. His performances have caught the attention of England’s top flight, but Monaco appear determined to retain their asset unless an exceptional bid arrives.

Despite strong interest from the Premier League, Camara is not pushing for an exit. The Senegal international appears comfortable remaining in France for a third consecutive season, a stance that significantly strengthens Monaco’s negotiating position.
