Saudi Arabia held Uruguay to a 1-1 draw in Miami despite the South Americans controlling 66.8% possession and firing 27 shots. Abdulelah Al-Amri gave Saudi Arabia the lead in the 41st minute after Uruguay goalkeeper Fernando Muslera parried a set-piece into his path, while Maxi Araujo equalised in the 80th minute when Saudi goalkeeper Mohammed Al-Owais spilled a save.
